More than 50 urban conservation practices have been installed, these include:
• Storm Water Filtration Systems (Grit Collection Chambers)
• Rain Gardens
• Pervious Pavement
• Infiltration Trenches
• Vacuum Street Sweeper
• Storm Drain Stenciling "Don't Dump - Drains to Lake"
• Storm Water Utility Fee (monthly fee to pay for storm water improvements)
  
  Clear Lake and Ventura Marsh:
    



• Ventura Marsh Restoration via IDNR/Corps of Engineers partnership (Completed in 2011)
• Clear Lake Dredging via IDNR/local governments/private partnership (Completed in 2009)
